The answer is: you need to get clear on which criteria truly matter when it comes to the feasibility of any online money-making system. The list of questions below will help you evaluate your options effectively.

1. Does this business serve a real market?

2. Is the market highly targeted?

3. Will I sell/promote products that are truly in demand?

4. Is there a clear system of traffic generation?

5. Is there a clear system of lead generation and follow up?

6. How much power do I have over the way the business is run?

7. How much support is provided if I need help or have questions?

8. When, where and how will I get paid?

9. How will the products be delivered?

10. Does this really let me be my own boss and make the executive decisions?

If your answer is no or I don't know to any of the above questions, be very cautious. While there's still a chance you might be looking at a legitimate opportunity, there's also a good chance you're looking at a scheme that isn't going to work for you.

Or we read newsletters that could wait until later. Setting a timer when reading our email can help us remember to cut to the important stuff and save the rest for non-business time.

* Research- The Internet is one of the best research tools anyone could ask for. But it is also home to numerous distractions. Setting a timer when researching can help us stay on track.

* Networking- Networking online can help you grow your business. But it also has the potential to eat up time that could be better used getting work done. Setting aside a certain amount of time to network and not going over it allows us to make connections without causing our work to suffer.

If you are working on multiple projects, setting a timer for each one can help you dedicate the appropriate amount of time to them. Projects that involve a lot of work or have approaching deadlines may need more time than smaller or lower priority ones.You can always reset the timer if necessary and add more time.

Taking breaks is important.Breaks give us time to clear our heads and tend to non-business matters. But sometimes it's tempting to take longer breaks when we're working for ourselves, and that cuts into time that could be spent on our home business. And sometimes we get so caught up in getting our work done that we make our breaks too short to serve their purpose.

Some of us make To Do lists, then tackle the items on them in exactly the order we thought of them. While it's good have a list of the things we need to do, taking the time to prioritize tasks will allow us to work much more efficiently.

One of the problems with prioritizing is that it's sometimes difficult to know whether or not something deserves priority status.

Sometimes client demands cause us to put a priority on things that don't really need it.

Deciding which tasks are the most important is sometimes tricky, but it's an important decision to make. Here are some things to consider when prioritizing:

Could a large task be broken up into smaller ones?

If you place top priority on an entire project, you may not get anything else done until it's finished. Breaking it down into individual tasks allows you the freedom to prioritize each part.

Though it might be important to get the first phase of the project completed today, the rest may be able to wait.

Are your deadlines coming from a client or are they self-imposed?

Reasonable deadlines coming from outside of your business should be adhered to if possible. It's also important to stick to your own deadlines. But if it comes down to completing one or the other, meeting your clients' expectations is usually the way to go.

Is a client making unreasonable demands?

Sometimes clients tend to forget that they're not your only client. When dealing with a demanding customer, it's important to remind them that you have other work to do.

To some people, every job is a rush job. If you run across a client like this, diplomatically suggest that he start planning projects further in advance.

Could not completing the task in question cause legal problems?

When it comes to filing taxes and other tasks that are required by law, not complying could be detrimental to your business. It's best to get such things done ahead of schedule instead of waiting until the last minute when something could come up that might cause you to miss the deadline.

Could the task in question be delegated or outsourced?

If you're having trouble completing your To Do lists, maybe you need someone else to help. By utilizing employees or contractors, you can get more done in less time, and more items can receive priority treatment.

Prioritizing is not always black and white. There are often gray areas that can make it hard to figure out just how important they are.

But by putting tasks into perspective and considering what would happen if they were not completed right away, we can more easily determine the order in which they would be best handled.

It's fine to "think outside of the box" and use these in ways that best suit your needs. It's your workspace, so the key is to organize things in a way that makes sense to you.

Keep in mind that organization is highly subjective. If you gave five people the same items to organize, each person would have his own unique way of organizing it. Neither way is wrong or right. As long as the person using the items is able to find what they need quickly and easily, that is what really counts.

Getting organized allows us to be most efficient with our time. By following some simple guidelines and coming up with an organizational system that works for your home business, you can get more done with less effort.
